My Journey begins like any other human beings life, it starts of with crying, and if followed by some laughter. My life has been a complete roller coaster, with everything being done so quickly and early that I had sometimes, no clue of where anything was going and in which direction. But even though life kept taking turns and turns, I kept on struggling with hard work and force to prevent any bad situations that would enter my life.
I came into this idea of a happy life a long time ago, as I am the oldest one in the family, so I’m bound to take up some responsibilities of the household. With everything kept at another side, my entire life has helped me into keeping it as stable as it can get. And that was done with a couple of hobbies, friends and family.
My hobbies include sports of all kinds, be it cricket, football, snooker, hockey, tennis or any other. Then it is followed by a series of movies, writing, world politics, reading and so on and so forth.
Even though my life has been a complete and utter form of disaster, I kept myself up no matter what, and with they help of a few, it was done with ease.
I basically belong to Sialkot, Punjab. From Montessori through my A’ levels, I studied in The City School. Currently I’m doing BBA from Lahore School of Economics. To me life is the blend of having a good time with your friends and family. I don’t have any of my relatives in Lahore but still my friends never let me feel like I am alone.
I believe that travelling is the best source of knowledge a person can gain, like seeing a new place for the very first time or returning to a favorite place. Every year I go for vacations within Pakistan or travel to foreign places.

Well this is Abdul Waheed Atif a 21 years old boy who was born on the land of hospitality, Peshawar, KPK on May 20, 1996.
I started my education from a very well-known Army Public School (APS) and feel proud to be a part of APS who fought and still fighting against terrorism by using pen as a weapon but not a gun.
I think self-description is not a fair task at all because no one in the world can express their own evils. So I personally think that self-description essay or blog is totally biased write-ups or at least it is a difficult task to do.

So let’s start with a brief introduction, I am an interesting, fun loving guy. But one thing that everyone must know about me is that at first I come of as a very shy individualistic guy but once I get to know people and are comfortable with my environment I am great. It is hard for me to make friends but once I make them, it’s great and I am all different. I joke, laugh and humor people and I also get as much as I give. I am a very kind, compassionate, sensitive guy as my close friends will tell you. I have a tough shell but on the inside I am soft. I am also a very principled person and stand strong on what is right and wrong. I am also a very straight and honest person. I understand and know that we all put on a show sometimes and do not show who we really are or what we feel but some people do this constantly and those kinds of people I cannot stand.
School Life
As stated earlier, I started my school life from APS Peshawar where I have been taught discipline, discipline and discipline. This is the reason that discipline is really important factor in my life from very beginning. Life at APS was awesome because being a child, I was not worried about anything happening in my life. The only thing difficult or horrible for me was to show-up good grades in exams and assessments. Otherwise life in the surrounding of cricket, hockey, friends, cousins and family was going good.
I studied in Peshawar till my sixth standard and then because of my father’s job I shifted to Faisalabad and continued my schooling at Faisalabad Grammar School, FGS. Faisalabad was quite different place for me because the trends, tradition and even somehow the culture was totally different from Peshawar. It was very difficult period of my life when everyone teased me just because of my different accent. But with the passage of time I adjusted myself in the environment and people of Faisalabad and now everything is going smoothly. This migration helped me to learn an additional language, Punjabi and now I can proudly say that I am a multilingual person.
Family
After GOD, everything for me is my family which include my father, mother, sisters and my beloved younger brother. For me my father is my whole world. My father is a hardworking person who works in a private firm to provide us the best. There is no doubt that my father is a role model for me. I always copy him and also want to become just like him.
He is the one who didn’t buy branded clothes, shoes or perfume & lived simple life just to pay your expense. He is none other than your FATHER.
Friends
As mentioned earlier it is hard for me to make friends but once I make them, it’s great and I am all different. From the very beginning of my life I have been taught to be loyal towards everyone, both it includes your friend or your enemy and it is not only taught to me but to every next child of Pashtoon family. That’s why Pathan are consider one of the loyal tribe or cast of world. My friend circle is not so big but in beside this I have some good, loyal and caring friends in my friend list. I love to enjoy my life with my friends and also love to spend some quality time with them. The best thing is that I never forget or replace my old friends with new ones and that’s why I am still in touch with my friends of kindergarten or 1st standard.

Hobbies
Speaking about hobbies, I love traveling and sports, particularly cricket & hockey. I love to discover new places and up till now I have visited almost every northern part of Pakistan. But still I think I have much more to discover and I will definitely go for it.

My second Hobby is to play cricket and I think I am a good cricketer. I am playing cricket since my childhood and I have represented my school team in several competitions. Similarly hockey is also my love and I believe that this all has been transferred from my father to me as my father represented Hyderabad District hockey team and also represented Sindh university Cricket team.

What I Want to Achieve
Well I don’t want to achieve too much in my life. I just want to achieve is a well-balanced life with full faith in GOD and a strength of being loyal toward my ALLAH and every other person associated with me. I want to payback my parents as they are investing today on me in the form of prayers, finance and love.
I’m a self-driven motivated person. If I recall my early academic years, I used to be a bright student. But I suppose that quality fades away with time.

The first practical decision that I got to take for myself was to choose my subjects in O Levels. I know it’s not something that one would remember as a memory but I do. I didn’t peruse my passion. I was more a machine loving person. As a kid I used to break things just to find out the mechanism behind how they worked. It was fun. But when time came to choose subjects, I opted for business courses because I wanted to do what my brother and cousin did. I considered them cool so it justified why I choose what I chose.
I’ve been scared of dogs ever since I got chased by one. It was a street dog and scared the crap out of me. But later when we actually got a dog. Not just any dog, a German shepherd. And after a few weeks I was able to come over my fear about dogs and started believing that it’s true what they say, dogs are the best friends you can have!

To Travel is to live – This perfectly describes my thoughts regarding wanderlust. I just love to travel, as it is one of those few things, which makes us realize that life is so beautiful and there is so much to admire.
It gives us a chance to explore new places, witness different cultures, and traditions; a chance to meet people who are born in a different world than ours and have different mentality; to try different cuisines.
I love listening to music. Especially trance. It is something that makes a person move every bone in his/her body. Ever since I’ve learned about the tomorrow land, I’ve been obsessed. And one day will come when I’ll be on this amazing spiritual tour!

Growing up, I am a person who always wanted to be something who radiates positivity. Unlike most people my age, I try to look at the best in situations, people, and even places. Speaking of places, I love to travel. I love to explore different places and so by far, I have managed to have been to a handful of countries.
The first 14 years of my life were mostly spent at my school, Aitchison College. At school, I learnt, what was the usual, from books but due to an in-born talent for cricket inherited from my father, it was in O Levels where I was first aquatinted with a bat and ball. Other peers and friends of mine saw themselves excelling in debates, events, social work and academics; but my favourite learning environment was the brown piece of patch in a large ground which everyone calls the “pitch.”
I have represented my school team in several inter school competitions which is something I take great pride in. Since my interest developed, I have undertaken cricket as a sport in every possible institution. Currently, while studying at the Lahore School of Economics, I am a part of the cricket team and that is probably the best part of the day, week, month for me; when I’m allowed to swing the bat to score a boundary or stop the ball from reaching.
Since I wouldn’t want to bore you further with my talk about cricket because I can go on and on to express my passion, but I’d like to take some time to talk about my travelling experiences. Exploring Pakistan is something I have thoroughly enjoyed and that too with my friends. With my friends at LSE, we have had countless trips to explore the unseen side of the country.
Watching some of the greatest footballers of all time play some of the best games of their lives is something I live for. When Messi became the youngest ever to score one of the best goals of his career back in 2005, I became not only a fan, but an admirer of the game. The technique, the tactics, the dedication, determination made me realize, it’s more than just a player kicking a ball in the net.
The dream is to be in the stands, cheering my favorite player in one of the biggest stadiums in the world in shape of ‘Camp Nou’ known to be the home of football. Being a Messi fan, I admire Barcelona but ever since I watched my first match with my elder brother in 2008, I started considering myself a fan of Arsenal. It’s a love-hate relationship with that team, you win some, you lose some and supporting them definitely made me realize what this phrase means to an individual. But definitely one of the best moments of my life was watching Arsenal live in 2008, when we lost 1-3 but to be in that great stadium in the north of London was a feeling I will never forget. Losing my voice for a week was definitely worth it.
Another favorite sport of mine is cricket. Hitting the ball as clean as whistle and middling it is one of the best feelings there is. Sports in general is something for that gives happiness and soothes your mind. I regard myself as definitely one of the biggest sport fanatics there is it was for me I would play every sport.
Apart from sports I really enjoy traveling because for me, travelling is the best sort of exposure one can get. I’ve been blessed enough to have visited over ten countries and some of these places include Chicago being my all time favorite, then London, New York, Canada just to name a few. I feel the difference is in the personality and it is a positive one.
Having spent all my life in Aitchison, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the best and closest friends and people I know till date. They shaped who I am today and for that I can never thank them enough. They gave me company, laughter, joy, memories, something amazing to look back upon. It is a time where I would relive over and over again if I could.
Pink Floyd. Guns N Roses. U2. Aerosmith. Classic rock is what I am passionate about. This type of music is what keeps me going on a lazy day and uplifts me. The beat, the lyrics, the way the vocals are sung are nothing sort of magic produced by the bands. I have an interest in singing and if I ever imagine myself singing, the songs by these bands are the ones I aspire to sing.

Born and raised in Lahore, descendant of true Lahoris. I am the rarest of my kind, in fact my family has been living in Lahore for twelve generations. As a typical Lahori I am in love with food. When i’m not eating, i’m thinking about it, you wouldn’t believe me if you saw me but what can i do if i have a fast metabolic system and you don’t.

Other than food and travelling I’m a football fanatic. A true supporter of Manchester United, a supporter of the famous Manchester United blog Unitedrant. I’ve been supporting Manchester United since 2006, investing my time and money in the club. Being a Manchester United supporter is tough now a days as the Glory Days have gone since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Life, what is life? Life is a time an individual spends from his birth to death in this world. Life is beautiful thing but it’s not easy, it has many problems. Life is not easy for everyone .Happiness, sorrow, success, defeat, day and night are two sides in life. Struggle, Suffering and failure are part of life and everyone experiences these things. Life is not like a smooth road it has big obstacles in it and those who pass those obstacles are the ones who are successful. There is no gain in life without any pain. Life has a limit and everyone’s limit is different so it’s up to us how we pass our life. Life is just like world’s stage where we actually come play our part and then depart. Then the next players come play their part, depart and the cycle goes on.
Life for me has been a bit different from those around me but I have learned a lot from experiences. I am going to proceed by giving highlights of my life.My name is Saad Umrao. My schooling started at the age of 3 from kids kampus ,then i did my O and A levels from Sicas . After completing A- levels i joined Lahore school of economics in 2014.
Through Out my school years i was very good at sports so i used to take part in my school competitions. One of my favorite sports was swimming it was one of my passion and i excelled in this area as i got selected in Punjab swimming team and have won several club competition and provincial level medals .Swimming is still one of my biggest passion in life but unfortunately because of academics i was not able to continue it and was unable to achieve one of my goals in life which was to represent Pakistan in Olympics.
Things which i almost regularly do in life or you can consider it as hobbies, Which are that i like to watch movies, a chunk of my life has been wasted in watching movies . Apart from movies one of the productive things which i do in life is that i almost regularly go to the gym. As life is unpredictable so i think that a person should make his or her life more happening ,I make my life more happening by spending more time with friends ,family and by travelling. Another kind of activity which i love is travelling i like to travel a lot , me and my friends almost every year go to northern areas of Pakistan and visit different places. Travelling increases your exposure and introduces one to different cultures . Travelling refreshes your mind, also helps in making friends all over the world ,hence increases knowledge and reduces stress.
Life is one of the most unpredictable thing as you never know when it will end and you are not sure what is going to take place in your life. Every one has a plan in life but everyone does not lives his life in accordance the plan which he has made for himself. Life has its own plan. There are somethings which are meant to happen in life and there are something which are not meant to happen in ones life. Life is a jigsaw puzzle,it consists of both bitter and sweet memories but at the end all that counts is that what you learn from them and whether you overcome them or get stuck with them.
Defining myself has always been difficult for me, as Im not good at expressing myself. I like change and I have always made sure that things around me keep on changing. This includes my behaviour, people, my hobbies and my obsessions. However, there are a few things that have been consistent in my life. It is actually hard for me to point out when these things became a part of my life. My constants are my bestfriends, my music and my love for food and coke My life is genuinely incomplete without them.
I joined LACAS in 2009, leaving behind my friends from my previous school was the toughest thing that I had ever done. I had never imagined that I would meet the people who will have such a great impact on my life. For the first time I came to know about true friendship. The feeling of when you know that something will actually last a lifetime is actually the best feeling in the world. When you know no matter what you do, someone will have your back and they will stand against anyone who tries to hurt you. When the same people exist in your crazy stories. I won’t lie, all these years together have not been ‘butterflies and marshmallows’ but in the end we all know that there is no one but us. My bestfriends; Ayesha Khadija Duaa and Amal are my life.
I have always had a hard time understanding myself and music has played a huge part in making me understand myself. At the end of the day when no one or nothing was able to fix me, music played it’s part and it has brought me back from the a very low phase. Sometimes Im surprised how music is able to change my mood within minutes.
Food is another thing that keeps me going in life. Having food has become a hobby more than a necessity. I believe having food is the best past time.
